Where's my Windmill?

Damn, forgot to blow on it last week.

Been busy recently and just had time to lurk once in a while. Oh well...

My bathroom project is now

My bathroom project is now finished and it turned out really nice. I now have the beautiful retreat that I have been dreaming about for the last 4 years.

It is spring break this week, kids are out of school so I may be slow again this week with responding to things.

You have to enjoy them when they are little, they grow up way to fast. I have a feeling that I will be playing a lot of twister over the next week. It is their favorite game right now.

I still have a few more of Bobdee's wav files to publish. I will have those up this week sometime.

Have a great week and happy spring everyone.

Miss POI

I got to top ten too.

I got to top ten too.

Finally

Finally getting a little much needed rain here in Eastern Central Flor-i-duh. Has been over 3 1/2 weeks without any and not much to speak of for 2009.

Another 5 weeks and will be heading out on another 7000 mile-30 day driving adventure through about 24 states.

Obviously, will be checking out the Rest Areas for accuracy and checking out and adding Turnouts to the "Rest Areas Combined" POI file for our Trucker friends !

Hope everyone has a great week !

I have a very large jetted tub in my bathroom where I like to soak and read my horror novels. It is very much my retreat;) I am a huge book worm, I am reading the twilight series right now. Stephen King is one of my heroes.

Glad last week is over!

Last week was BUSY! Lost 4 days traveling, but I'm back home now. I didn't take the GPS as there was no need. It was all walking between the hotel, the convention center, the receptions, breakfasts and then collapsing after keeping up with the day job while attempting to drum up new business.

Happy Monday

Spring break is over, back at work.

Happy Monday

Happy Monday to you and the work day is almost done.

You are correct...

Miss POI. Kids grow up way too fast. When our two kids were toddlers, my wife and I felt as if they would be with us forever. When our eldest had her 12th birthday, I told my wife that our daughter would be leaving home in another six years.

My wife was depressed for months.

Both of our kids will be graduating from their repective colleges in May and will be moving back to our home area. We are elated.

Yeah ...

still 1st page!

Rain

We had light rain a good part of the day. Didn't put a dent in our drought, however.

Our first HDTV was delivered today - yippee! Now all I need to do is get the HD cable box so we can see some HD programs. Actually, even the SD programs look better.

After spending the entire weekend moving into a house, I don't have everything unpacked yet. redface

And what exactly do you grow in that garden that is so much fun it makes you lose focus?

Teaching this week

I leave Wednesday morning for a Workshop where I will be teaching how to use the Garmin Etrex for Geocaching. I have been reading everything I can find to make sure I have enough. But I am sure the hands on will be the best part. We will hide and find a couple caches at the camp. I am excited as the Ohio 4-H camps got a grant to buy Etrex for each camp.
