It is totally amazing the things you can learn off this webb site . Little over 3 weeks ago I found this site out of 100's . Signed up and have learned from some of the best on how to take My Nuvi 760 to a whole different level. I am still learning but I now know how to add, create and modify the poi files to my needs and I not so great at the computor.
Thanks to all and miss poi for the knowlegde found on this site.

Still learning

I too got my first GPS ever two weeks ago and I'm still learning. This site has been a source of information so rich that I am still in owe about the whole thing. One of the major plusses is that it allowed me to go beyond the frustrating quirks that I immediately faced with my Nuvi 770 (such as inadequate routing, messed-up freeway connections, useless re-routing due to obsolete traffic info for example) and learn many positive things it can do for me.
