Hi, I like to get your input on Garmin nuvi 360 for $250.

I bought a Garmin nuvi 650 for $300 at Costco, right after Thanksgiving 2007. I thought it was a great deal, as the price is much lower than what I see online or in electronics store.

Well, my wife and I like it so much that we want to get a 2nd GPS unit, preferrably Garmin.

right now i have the 48 on the unit and can/alaska on the sd card which gives me tons of room for cust.pois.my question is can i put the 48 on the card and can/alaska on the unit to give even more memory,cause right now it is 900mb for 48 and 400 for can/alaska, my thought is if i can reverse them it would give me a ton more room in the unit for cust.pois,right? or wrong? or can it even be done?

This has worked before but after 6 months I cannot get POI loader to recognize my Nuvi 660 (no longer a selectable GPS option is present). I have reinstalled Mapsource and POI loader and tried several Garmin GPS's. Anyone have this problem?

Will the sound file automatically sound when I get near a poi that I downloaded or do I need to take some kind of action?

I have a nuvi 200 and recently i had to be in the Chicago downtown area and my nuvi was not very responsive and it displayed the wrong streets although the satellite signal was at full capacity! I was lost for a little while! My good ol' nuvi let me down that one time!

Hey guys, how do I put more than one location in a single .csv file when I create my own POIs through google earth and poi loader? Thanks.

I recently cut out all foreign files in "Help", "Voices", and "Text" in my 260 to clear space and stored them in a file on my pc. Is this ok to do? Thanks.

Anyone know how to use the Garmin Upload feature that is showing on this site: http://www.gps-data-team.com/gps-poi.php

It looks like it is an easier way to save the files directly to the GPS, but when I do it the system always tries to save the file with the same name. I don't even know if it works, so any info that you experts can share would be appreciated.

I have seen this before so sorry to repeat. I don/t seem to have any POIs (either custom or factory installed) shown on the navigation map regardless of the scaling. If I select a particular POI it will show on the "preview" map but none of the others(same catogory in close proximity show. I have a NUVI 760. Any thoughts?

I have a Garmin C330 and it works fine for what I use it for. I work for Home Delivery for Fed Ex. The one thing that annoys me most is this.......when I miss a turn,"She", thats what I call her......will have me go around the block rather than make a U-turn. Sometime a block can be 4 or 5 miles in the country here. I have U-turn enabled in the unit.

I am currently looking to buy a preloaded SD card from Garmin fro Europe but I am unable to find any information if they are able to be updated. I've heard in the past they are not able to be updated. I've spent the last 30 minutes searching online to find this info and have came up blank. Any help is appreciated.

I have enjoyed using the MS program for years, then was faced with the inferior Garmin version. Ugh. I find it much easier to plan trips forcing scenic motorcycle routes with Streets and Trips and generally a bit of a struggle with City Navigator. Sure it has gotten a little easier over time, but it is still not nearly as intuitive.

Are there any updates for the Garmin Nuvi 260? Thanks.

I just became active and downloaded the red light cam csv (thanks, Ms. POI and all others). My question must be a FAQ, but searching either gave me nada or a many to many posts to check. So with apologies, here goes, and please just point me in the right direction.

can any one tell me if there are any problems with 5.20
i have 4.20

I did a search and i can't find a definitive answer to my question.
My Nuvi came loaded mith software vesion 3.90.
I updated via webupdater to version 4.20, everything went good but I was wondering if there is a way to go completely back to the previous 3.90 version?
Before updating I did download to disc of all the files on my 660 so i do have a copy of the previous files.

I have loaded poi into the 660 with the poi program and it says that it has loaded but when I get into the 660, I can not find the list of poi anywhere.
Please help.
