Interesting

I just purchased a BlackBerry Pearl a few months ago, I wonder how the Nuvifone compares.

According to ...........

engadget, its going to be a pretty nice addition to the Nuvi series. They spoke of a car mount, so maybe it's going to be a top of the line Nuvi.

At first glance

It compares like this: from the announcement, it looks to be GSM technology, which is something that is not widely supported outside metro areas in the US. It will probably be a nice device in areas where there is good GSM service, which there is little of in my locale. If they come out with a CDMA version of it, I'll be tickled if my provider supports its use.

Yeah, I hear ya! It should be CDMA, not GSM. However, I wonder how well it will be on sound quality? Any better then the existing nuvis with bluetooth? If not, then I wouldn't get it.
