i think i loaded poi and redlight camrea to my new 760 but i cant find them . on my old c 330 it would be in the favorites and then it would say custom poi . did i do something wrong . thanks glenn

I read something about putting the mp3 files into the folder with the poi stuff but , ok I am confused, anybody willing to spell it out for me

I just got a Nuvi 750 for Christmas and I have a question.

I installed the web updater and selected updates for 3 voices... When I looked at the unit, only 'Jill' was present. What happened to the other voices (e.g. Jack)? Now when I go and look, I can't see them anywhere to download.

Does anyone know of any way to get the software for golf course gps's onto a regular gps(i.e. nuvi 260W)?

i am new to the loading of poi into my nuvi 260 and have loaded some into my gps with the poi installer from garmin. the only problem is that i want to delete some of those poi's from there. can i get someones help? i am using windows xp on a pc. and how do you choose where i can put those poi into the directories that are already in the gps and not the custom poi that come up in the unit.

Wife gave me a nuvi 200 for Christmas. I'm a truck driver and believe I will love useing this. Is there any suggestions for map updates or anything to improve this unit for what I'm going to be using it for? Or is all the standard stuff ok. Or should I return it and get a better one?

I have a Palm TX with Garmin Mobile 10 for Smartphones. It sort of turns the Palm TX into a nuvi, with added features, but somewhat different menus in different places.

How do I delete POI from my 205. I dragged the poi folder to the trash and its gone but the poi is still on the 205

Here's one I don't recall seeing before. I was using the 760 in my wife's car today so it wasn't connected to the car stereo. A ways into my journey Karen sounded like she was getting a sore throat then she came down with total laryngitis. I couldn't get voice, couldn't get a beep nada. Everything else was working fine.

Hello, I just started "playing" with my Garmin Nuvi 265WT. Is it ok to delete all the "forgien" voices stored in my Garmin? I thought this would open up space in the memory.

In 5 really easy steps.
1. Change language to British English instead of American English (you can keep karen/american voices -- no difference)
2. Mount nuvi as usb device on PC.
3. Open up wordpad and edit the british language gpp file in Garmin/text on the nuvi.

This has probably been asked before but I can’t find it. On my old Garmin or my Lowrance (for the boat), I can reverse any route to track back to the starting location. I don’t see such a feature with the Garmin 750. So far I’ve just selected the starting point to track back and let the Garmin re-calculate every time I take a slightly different route than the one Garmin picked.

I'm a new Nuvi 255W owner and the first thing I wanted to do was plan a trip from Texas to Florida. While the routing algorithm seemed to work quickly and the route displayed on the map looked reasonable, I couldn't find any summary of the trip (total miles, estimated travel times, etc.) as would be found with a typical PC-based mapping program.

I just purchased the GArmin 255W...my 1st GPS.

How about this technology,heh? I have owned a C330 for a little over 3 years and have loved it (99.6% of the time). The occasional "recalculating" at the wrong time would tear at my nerves but overall it has been a rock-solid workhorse.

hi, do you have to charge the nuvi right out of the box? or should it turn on automatically? or do i charge in my truck overnite? thanks

I just got a Nuvi 760 from Santa and have used Garmins
POI Loader to load all the POI's(cvs files) I have on
my Nuvi 360. I can not find any Custom POI's anywhere on my Nuvi 760, or find any information in the user guide.
Any help is appreciated.
