fuses (for tom-tom traffic receiver)

I need a fuse for my tom-tom traffic receiver model 4UUC 001.03. Can anyone help to identify it and where it can be purchased?

typically

Typically these use a glass fuse, most likely a 1A. The common type is a 3AG-1A and you can find them in the auto parts stores. The best bet is to take the blown one with you and then make certain the two match as far as size.

Thanks. Unfortunately, the

Thanks. Unfortunately, the one I need is much smaller. I saw it when the cord unscrewed itself and it fell out before I could catch it. k

On the cord is printed "Fuse 250V/1.0. Does that mean anything?

Still a 1A

It's still a 1A fuse. I alluded to the fact there are different types of glass fuses. It sounds as if yours is/was the mini. Still, the auto parts store is the best bet. On a side note, the 250V note means that if the fuse opens, it will protect the circuit from voltages of 250 volts before there is the potential for the fuse to arc over internally. If you ever have voltages in excess of that in most electronics, they are toast.

Walmart or Radio shack

Radio Shack will have it if Walmart does not.
