Looks like Google is out front on POIS. Wonder what is holding up Garmin? I put in suggestion a while back and just resubmitted it for Android and Ipad to get POI Loader.

I would say yes, all one needs to do is register. The Camera files are a different issue. But even those they could get.

I think they can take that file as long as they are not making any money on it.. Oh, btw, I update that file and only uploqad it here.. So by the time that file is used, it is already old data!!
I have had a few user here ask if they can use the file for other use, As long as they ask, I dont mind.. BUT remember, they will have to come here (and I ask them to give POI-Factory Credit) for any and all updates!
