I'm in the process of downloading now.
I thought I'd start a new thread rather than continue the original that's at 7 pages. I'm sure they're will be lots more discussions with user experiences.

Member t923347 posted the release in the other thread and he stated Mapupdater wouldn't work for him and had to use Garmin Express. I do not have a problem with MapUpdater and it is what I'm using for the download.

dont fit

i havent updated in a long time lol and went to update and it wont fit i went out and bought a 2gb sd card and it wont fit on that ether any ideas what size can i use

A 4GB will work now and well into the future.

4Gb is fine. I personally

4Gb is fine. I personally have an 8Gb since I got it cheap. Also keep other stuff on the card besides the maps.

As cheap as SD memory is these days the more the better since you can use the card in other compatible devices. An 8GB card can be read by almost all Nuvi's so the memory size is not an issue.

Haven't updated with this latest map yet, but now that I see that 2014.30 is out - and has been for awhile - but not 2014.40, I shall update soon! Thanks for all the posts everyone, always helpful to know if there are any snags beforehand...
