Up, up and away

The Orion arrived in Cape Canaveral today. Outer space and asteroids here we come!! Well, in 2024 anyway.

I think that the commercial launchers are going to do a good job taking over NASA's launch schedule. They are already doing a great job - and at a lot less money.

Better than a 4th of July firecracker, huh?

Not Sure Which I Prefer

Ended our Florida vacation dodging Tropical Storm rains only to arrive home where it had not rained the entire time we were gone, nor has it rained since we returned--just HOT and MUGGY.

No Power and a bad storm after Friday's storm.

A lot of people lost power and may not get it back on for a week or more.Thousands of homes are still without power in our region. Our power can back on Monday about 4:30pm grin Have a great 4th of july.

Wind storm

Well I made it through the windstorm on June 29th here in Va. Lost power for only 14 hours compared to some in my state who are still without it. Hope everyone has a great July 4th holiday.

I hope all think about this great country and the anniversary of her birth. With all her faults, she's still a wonderful country and will overcome any threats to our freedom. This nation was founded on individual liberties and will fight to defend those liberties against ALL enemies - Foreign and Domestic. Freedom isn't free.

Just got back form a week in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Over 100 every day, 107 was the hottest day,come home to the Chicago suburbs, just about as hot.
