What a day in Phoenix

What a fantastic 4th of July in Phoenix. Didn't even hit the century mark, even had rain. Cooler than a lot of locations in the midwest.

Dishwasher

does anyone remember how to wash and dry dishes? Our dishwasher wento on the third and now have to help the wife wash and dry dishes. bah humbug. laugh out loud smile

Have learned how to use a new (to some) Solar Powered Clothes Dryer (clothes line) since our dryer quit a week ago. Actual not too bad !

Pool time?

On July 4th I went out to uncover and clean the pool. As soon as I uncovered it, it started to thunder.

Yesterday I went out to clean the pool. As soon as I got the leaves out, it started to thunder.

4th of July Heat in St. Louis

stories a few year (probably more than I want to recount) of homeowners in SoCal that got tired of seeing their drought brown yards so had them redone in concrete with Astroturf. I heard of one that just did green cement with a push type mower in the middle of the cement "yard."
