What makes a Red Light POI work?

I have Bank of America and red light cameras .csv files yet only the red light ding..my question is what makes this announce but not the other csv files? Thanks,Tom

Proximity Alert

By default, the red light camera file gets loaded with a proximity alert. The BoA file does not.

When running POI Loader, you will have to select Manual Mode and when the BoA file comes up, set a distance proximity alert of 1-2 miles (5,000 - 10,000 feet).

Ok thats..just wondering

Ok thats..just wondering what the difference was between the 2 files

keyword

Try adding the key word "Redlight" to the name of the BOA file.

Key words for alerts in file name

If the file name contains "redlight", POI Loader assumes all records in the file have proximity alerts with a distance of 400m/0.25 miles.

If a file contains "GATSO," "mobile," "SPECS," "safety," "speed," or "camera," but does not have a speed, POI Loader uses a default alert speed of 0, which means you will always be alerted. You can override this default value by entering the speed in Manual mode.

The 'Help' of Garmin's 'POI Loader' provides the information you requested. It also has a lot of other info concerning POIs and their format requirements.
