Stupid Question regarding Special Offers Coupons on Garmin 1490T

According to the manual.If the ad contains a coupon.Touch the coupon icon on the GO! page to receive the coupon code.Write down the code and present it once you arrive at the location.

I believe you take the 1490T with you into the Red Lobster, then retrieve the coupon by Selecting Tools; Advertisements or Offers; then Select the ad on the list and show it to 'em... and they give you the deal.

You think it is an expired coupon? I just got the GPS today. How can it not show the code?

Will Red Lobster let me drive the car inside to show the coupon?

I pressed it hard, and it did not do nothing.

Go through the menus. I am not sure which. There is a menu that says "Offers". All of the coupon alert advertisements get stored there once they come up.

I have never tried using one of these but I know when you tell the restaurant that you have this you are going to get stares and no one will have any idea what it is all about.

I doubt any decent restaurant keeps coupons inside its menus.

Not sure what is going on with that one.Next time while out driving and you get another offer make sure to touch the icon and see what happens.I get them from Walgreen's,hotels and restaurants.You get selection for the ones closest to you that you can select Go .The only time they show up is when stopped or moving slow.Most times I don't even notice them.

NOT the restaurant MENU - the Garmin's menus (on screen folders, if you would rather) the offers that have shown up previously on the screen are all there in one of those folders.
