I recently purchased the Garmin 765T with the Navteq lifetime traffic. I live in the GTA, Ontario and I commute often on the highways...401,400,407,404 etc.
I was thinking to subscribe to the Premium Clear Channel (TTN) traffic network (USD60.00) instead. My question is....
1) is there anyone that has used both traffic subscriptions and recommends the 60.00 subscription is better than the Navteq's traffic network?
2) With my 765T device, do I just need to purchase the subscription and install on the device? Do I need any additional hardware...eg. a separate traffic receiver for the Clear Channel Network?
3) I have noticed on my 765T that even when my power cable is unplugged from the garmin device, I still see the traffic icon (gren icon to the middle-left of the display) and when i press it, I still se some traffic activity eventhough I thought the antenna was in the power cable.
4) If I can just install the Clear Channel subscription, how do I select it vs the Navteq subscription? Do I have to uninstall the Navteq subs?
5) Is the traffic receiver for the Garmin 765T inside the device or in the DC power cable?
