Multiple POI files on Garmin

Ok. I am new to this. I downloaded a POI file -walmart stores- then wanted another file - mouth-watering barbecue places - but the second file replaced the first in the Extra folder on the Garmin.
I thought you can have more than one POI file on the device. Am I wrong?
Can you have multiple POI files downloaded?
multiple files or one file
Either do both of them, or as many as you want in one file.
or you can make one of them, change the name, copy it to the sd card, than make another and change the name and copy it to sd card, etc. over and over again.
gpi extension of name
you have keep it, but the rest of the name you can change.
