USA Ghost Towns

GPURV,

Thank-you for posting this POI. I noticed some States are incorrect. For example, based on the coordinates, Exeter is in NH, not Montana. These errors were easy to spot as I kept only the east coast (anything east of -88.5).

USA Ghost Towns

You're right, Exeter NH doesn't quite qualify as a ghost town.

"Exeter Montana was a Railroad station. Exeter never had a post office, though I would imagine that the community was named after Exeter, England, and was home to few people." -Ryan J. Hill

Unfortunately, as ghost towns, they're not quite as easy to target on GPS smile

(feel free to make the deletion or correction)

I hope zakany finds it interesting.

Gpurv,
You are the only person that has access besides me to make corrections and deletions.
We all work together as a team to keep the files updates. File managers who post the files are the first people who are notified when a file needs a correction.

Hummm...

You might consider providing text file editing instructions; but, I guess your site is just a bit too stuffy for me.

Please feel free to delete all of my content, you've already started deleteing my posts.

Have fun "Missy".

was not trying to offend

Gpurv,
I am sorry if my post put you on the defensive side.
Here is our FAQ regarding updating files on the site: http://www.poi-factory.com/node/9040 We do have protocols here in place so that things get done.

I have checked my records to see if I have removed any posts that you have put up and I am not seeing any so I am not sure what that comment was about.

Your content is appreciated and my intention was not to offend you or put you off.

I hope that you will stick around and continue to be a part of the group.

Sincerely,

Miss POI

Maybe not but sometimes the urge to respond IN KIND is just too great.

no negativity needed

I really can hold my own guys, I don't need the negative comments coming from the peanut gallery in the background.

I know that you guys get protective of me but sometimes your defense of me really does counteract my approach.

Not trying to bash anyone, I just calls em' the way I sees em' and I've never believed too much in being politically correct. Anyone that blasts someone for trying to help them does have a personal problem so why not admit it.

I didn't realize we had a peanut gallery. I guess I got promoted and didn't know it.

GPURV,

As GPURV didn't have an e-mail, I thought I would post this here. If you are still around, I, too, Thank you for posting this POI. I went to Milwaukee this weekend, and noticed, based on the coordinates, Geneva, Colorado pointed to Geneva, Wisconsin. Drove from Milwaukee to Colorado in an hour.
