Germany's upside down railway: The Wuppertal Schwebebahn
This was built in the late 1800's and opened in 1901 and is actually called a "Suspension Railway" sorry for the clarification!
How do the pick up electricity???
See a website with OLD photos:
I have always been a train buff but this train had an elephant stampede onboard!
Thanks for sharing! I really love the aesthetics of the carriage.
