Firmware Version?

How can I find the firmware version that is installed on my 260W? I just read that there is a new version available but it is not listed in the Webupdater when I connect it.

I have a Nuvi 770, and I think its the same for your unit...

Tools>Settings>System>then click on the "About" button at the bottom center of the screen...

Thanks for the assist. I am currently running "Software Version 4.00

Wonder why it doesn't see the need for the newer version when connected thru Webupdater.?.?

It's possible that this other link applies to many of the nuvi 2xx series. Maybe yours falls into this group.

I called Garmin and they said that ver. 4.00 was the latest firmware for the 260W.
