after uploading files with POI loader

Would they be visible anywhere on the nuvi 660? For example, Wal Mart, red light, etc? For example, when I look under Custom POIs, there isn't anything. Nor is there anything on the map. No errors from POI loader, though. Thx.

You should have received message so many pois loaded.If so they should be found when you touch where to,my locations,extras and touching custom pois last they should be there.You are directing poiloader at the main folder and not the csv files right?

Um, I thought I'd see a list under "Custom POIs" which is blank. When I press Custom POIs, it says All Categories, Redlight-Cameras, etc.
I'm not technologically challenged, really, I know how to type cd / to go to the root directory in linux, just new to GPS in general....yeah, right, whatever, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Thanks.

Not sure how you have your files set up on your computer to transfer to Gps.If you are starting to download lots of files like the rest of us.You will need some order to your files.Subfolders are the way to go see http://www.poi-factory.com/node/8674

poi's no longer work in Garmin nuvi 650 ???
I've had a Garmin nuvi 650 for more than a year now, and it's been working fine....until now. Recently updated my laptop to a HP Pavilion dv5; Windows Vista 64bit. I was using a Dell Inspirion with XP, and all was fine back then, but since I updated Mapsource to v6.14.1 and uploaded a new .gpx file with POI Loader v2.5.2 things have changed.
The seperate folders are no longer recognized and the Custom POIs option shows just a long list. Jpegs are now visible also. What have I done wrong? Any others have trouble with Vista and Mapsource?
