First post here, and greetings to all of you !

Tony has a great category on his site, which includes oldies. I was very happy to find some French oldies, such as the Citroen 2CV or the DS19 - a President's car !

I was wondering if anyone had sources and time to build another great car, called the Citroen Mehari ?

I'm happy to say we drive one, a white plastic jeep-like body with a grey soft top. It was built on the same base as the 2CV - the Diane, to be more accurate. It's a tubular chassis hidden under the hood, and a great car all year round. It was built as a 2x4, but there was a 4x4 model, and even a military version with a 24 Volt electrical system !

Two or three large fan clubs exist here in France, they bought all existing building frames, molds and the likes when Citroen stopped building that little gem. And they are now repairning them, refitting them - and selling them like crazy !

I won't give URLs here, but if you adon your goggles (or fix my spelling) and look for the words MEHARI and France, you'll easily locate them.

If someone hears my plea, I'm sure many people would rejoice !

Check this site. The Icons are for the tom-tom but might be able to convert for Garmin.

Looks like that would be very difficult. It seems that Tom-tom uses a single static graphic (bitmap-BMP) that would only correspond to the "rear" of a vehicle used in a Garmin. Garmin units use many pictures from different angles to make up a vehicle icon.

Added the wrangler icon. Attempted to change my vehicle only to have the screen freeze. Attempted various re-boots of powering up and down both while plugged in and unplugged. Screen frozen showing 3d map on right and the vehicle selection on left of the vehicles prior to the screen with the Wrangler.

A corrupted .srf is my guess.

I believe I had a corrupted .srf that caused that.

I did some quick and dirty edits to the blue truck icon. I made it red to match my truck and added a truck camper. The camper is streamlined like my Bigfoot.

The "quick & dirty" part is that I only did one view with the camper on the truck. It displays 99.9% of the time if you are in the "Track Up" mode.

I finally found a site with multiple Mario Kart vehicles. They look nice from the screen shots. They have Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, among others.

I haven't been able to find a limo icon. Especially an SUV limo. It would be hilarious to have that on the screen when I have clients in the back.
