i.e., is a 260 different from a 250 in the same way a 360 is different from a 350? Is there a thread I am missing (the search function leaves MUCH to be desired, methinks)? What I am looking for is *50 = basic functionality, *60 adds ???, *70 adds ???, etc.
TIA
Based on Garmin's website
Based on Garmin's website, using the 200 as an example, it looks like
200: US Maps
250: North America Maps (Adds Canada, Alaska)
270: Adds Europe
260: Adds TTS to 250

Awesome!!!
Thanks for the info. This way I don't feel bad for not having spent the extra money to get a 260 or 270... I don't need the extra features (I'm really satisfied with the 250W) and I saved some money.
Thanks again.
Extra Features
Blue Tooth and MP3 are also features in the mix. If you get a 350 it has mp3 but no bluetooth. When you move to the 370 then you add bluetooth. It looks like the x60 have both Europe and US maps and the x80 usually has added msn content.
The best way to know for shure is to pull up https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134 and check on the boxes of the units you want to compare. There are minor differences between the different series that don't make a standard structure across the board
