NUVI 58 LMT

Are you using the device in a horizontal or vertical orientation? I would think vertical might be an issue with lane assist.

The 58LMT came with "Lane assist with junction view (displays junction signs)" and although I don't own a 58LMT all my capable devices, some of which are older than the 58LMT still have lane assist with the latest update.

If not willing to look at the links, the long and short of it is that your 58LMT lost Junction View as of 2025.20 because Garmin discontinued the image format your device used for Junction View. Garmin no longer offers the files at all, so there is no way to add the files in manually. You cannot substitute photoreal files from units that have them as the firmware will not recognize the image format found in photoreal junction view files.

Lane Assist, i.e. the direction arrows at the upper left of the screen, are embedded into the map and will still function.
