The Nuvi mounting ball joint Is loose question...

Hi All,

I have a Nuvi 670 with a bean bag mount (I live in
California).

My question is:
The ball joint that fits into the back of the mounting
bracket snaps into place but the swiveling is loose, to the
point that the unit won't stay in the position I set.

Does anyone know a way to tighten or restrict the movement
of the ball joint "after" it snaps into place? I tried
aluminum foil wrapped around the ball joint, but that wasn't
too effective.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Tailspin

loose ball joint

You may want to try contacting Garmin support and let them know. They are pretty good at replacing defective mounts.

Try calling your favorite tech support person at Garmin, you wil probably be surprised at how much they will do for you!

Try this

It's a kluge..but get some fabric medical tape and place a few strips across the head..that should help?
