bmp files not displaying / no custom sound

MP3 will not work for voice alerts on the nuvi 2577.You need sox.exe and wav file see http://www.poi-factory.com/node/25730

The biggest problems with the alerts and icons not working are the files not being named the same except for extensions and having double extensions. Double-check each of them. See http://www.poi-factory.com/node/25721

I have this custom wav file for my Dunkin Donuts POI that used to work but the last time I updated my POIs, the POI loader said there was a problem and it has not worked since.

run POI Loader one more time and write down exactly what the message is. That will help us determine the next steps.

I got the wav alert to work properly by making a new wave file
at https://www.text2speech.org/. The only thing I dont like about it is its kind of hard to hear it (maybe I am getting old).
I turned up the volume on the 2577 but its still kind of muffled.
The bmp packaged with the dunkin donuts doesn't display so I may have to start one from scratch. I also kind of freaked out that the alert was not working after I put the new wave file on it but come to find out the csv file is outdated. I had to add my local DD to the csv file, all good now......Thanks!

You can also change the gain(volume level) for the wav using http://www.goldwave.com/release.php or http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/
