3597LM with GtM60

Hello.

What's the difference between the 3597lmthd vs the 3597lm? If I connect a gtm60 to the lm version, will it become a lmthd?

The 3597lmthd comes with lifetime map updates (LM) and lifetime HD traffic (LTHD). The 3597lm only has the lifetime map updates. AFAIK that is the only difference between these 2 units.

I suspect your GTM60 will work with the 3597lm but you may need to purchase a traffic subscription for it to receive traffic information.

I have a Drive 52LM and I used GTM-36 Traffic cable and it receives traffic, not the best of the traffic options, but it works in the big city areas. I did not have to purchase a traffic subscription.
