Another arctic front

looks like another arctic front is blowing into north central Texas about noon - very cold, should last for several days below freezing. Everyone be safe out there this week!

been a cold week

Winter is holding on strong here!

Working on cutting the cable.

Been doing a boat load of research as to what I really want. My cable and internet are way to high. Cable alone is $100 per month and I just got the notice that my rate next month is going up about $25.
So I am looking at a Roku and to start streaming what I want. The biggest problem I found is that I can't get the local "live" channels even though direct tv now and sling say they can. The caveat there is "select areas only" and I'm not in the area. So, I'm considering an antenna to get the local. Either way, the initial cost being about $120 for both AND a savings of about $100 per month.
Then Spectrum is converting to all digital so any TV that does not have a set top box won't work.
