Where I live we had a super duper deal last year late summer. Walmart and Home Depot as well as another large chain store were selling all kinds of LED bulbs for $ 0.50.

I bought enough for my house at home and the one in Mexico as well as I have about a dozen spares.

I remember looking at them a few years ago and they were something like $ 17.95 each.

Well, I didn't find any for $0.50, but the standard A19 replacements for 60W incandescents were only about $1.00. But unfortunately I needed very few of those standard bulbs for table lamps and a few ceiling fixtures. I was just glad that you can now find the LED decorative bulbs, like clear glass exposed filament globe bulbs for vanity fixtures and attractive candelabra bulbs for ceiling fan fixtures. I also have about 45 can lights that require R30 flood bulbs and some BR20 mini floods. Many of my fixtures are on dimmer switches, so I had to make sure to get dimmable bulbs for those. These specialty bulbs have come down considerably in price, but I sure didn't find any for $0.50. Maybe someday they will be that cheap, but like I said in the other post, I will probably never need to buy additional bulbs in my lifetime (unless I move).

Just got back from a trip to New York for the holidays. MY GPS with the new updated map worked like a champ. Avoided most of the toll roads in NY and PA only paid two dollars and forty cents in tolls. Everyone have a good safe week

The Assisted Living in Fort Worth my mother is has been locked down with a virus. There are 12 buildings and all have sick people in them.
