Rain...

Sacramento and the surrounding cities and towns have gotten bunches of record breaking rain in the past couple of weeks. Too bad we can't save a lot of the water we're sending down stream for later in the year. That's what the snow pack in the mountains is going to provide for us. I'm thankful for all we got. It helps.

How about this weather

In some placas rain tolher places snow. I almost got an accident. Some people think 4x4 is safer going to the speed they want and not for the road conditions.

It's why you see so many SUV's upside down in the ditch after an ice storm ... added traction leads to over confidence. They may get going better and track better, but they don't stop any better.

Anyway ... glad you avoided the accident.

Years

After 45 yrs the wife decided she needs to learn how to use the snow blower, and put gas in the car. Will help while I am restricted to what I can do with the new pacemaker and ICD installed.

Ice Storm in STL

Just hanging out at home with the GPS turned off this week. Ice storm STL is a look out the window event for us retired folks. Paid my dues for many many years.

We are normally in OK where they have ice today, glad I'm not there.

Hard to figure weather here in north MS. 11 deg last week 70 today and forecast 60's and 70' next week.
