I have an old Street Pilot I3 that I use on my motorcycle and it worked just fine. It has a 2 GB micro SD card and I was trying to download some custom POI's. I believe I inadvertently erased on the folders/files on the micro sd card and it appears I have rendered the whole unit useless. Under food, hotels and more it only has custom points. Can anyone help me with very (very, very) simplistic instructions as to what folders/files I might need to put on the micro sd card to restore the unit to its previous state. Thanks a bunch for any suggestions/help.
Recuva
Have you tried Recuva to restore files on the SD? It may work for you.

Recuva (pronounced "recover") helps recover files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players.
Help-file structure
Thanks all. I used recuva and was successful in restoring files. I feel like you're getting me closer to getting this fixed but I wonder if the file structure is still amiss. On my SD card I have the following
file/folder POI.GPI 0 bytes
file/folder LD.txt 37 bytes
file/folder Garmin custom files.gpi 1.12 MB (I think I created this to house my POI's)
Folder Garmin
subfolder POI 1.37 MB
file folder poi.gpi 1.37 MB
Guessing this are not organized correctly or have extraneous files/folders but don't know how to correct. Thanks for all the help!
