Thanks

A quick glance at the new version looks like earlier ones to me.

As of now, and like last time, the new version comes out and the Garmin Forum thread on the version change log has yet to add the new version's changes, at least for the PC.

[Later] For PC:

• Fixed an issue that caused text to overlap when adding a device to Express.

4.1.26.0

So far, no release notes on the Garmin site.

I just installed it, but I am not seeing any obvious difference in the user interface. What are you seeing that is different?

After having to reinstall both of my GPS's it turns out it is the same setup. When i first installed the new version my 2 GPS were not listed,so i reinstalled and everything is fine now.

[For Mac]
• Fixed a number of Russian localization issues.
• Improved messaging about computer time discrepancies causing syncs to fail.

.

I was beginning to worry, it had been a while since I had an update to install.

...

Thanks for the info!

Why?

Wondering why folks are rushing to install new versions without seeing the release notes. If it ain't broke, don't fix it is my motto.

Updated the iMac...

No apparent problems.

You have to update

If you try to use it, you will be forced to update.

I'll wait

I think I will wait on this install until the new version of the maps ore released and see what happens to others that have already updated. Wasn't there a problem with GE during the last map update?

There seems to be no

There seems to be no problems. Most GE updates are primarily for the numerous personal fitness devices, and have little to no bearing on GPS devices.

If you don't use GE between updates, there's no reason to update. At map update time you will be forced to update before you can apply the new maps.
