This topic came up on another thread http://www.poi-factory.com/node/45474 about Real Voice with Real Directions compared to other voices that only offered Real Directions.Didn't want to get the other thread off on another topic.So I started this one for discussion.
I contacted Garmin and wanted more of a technical answer to Garmins information posted on thier web site."Garmin says Garmin Real Voice uses refined speech technology to provide spoken instructions using a voice that sounds more realistic and friendly".
Only could get the following opinion.
"I am sorry, however sending you the "technical link description" is about as technical that we can get.If you are looking for a more personal opinion, then yes, I do agree with you, as I do not see any measured difference in the voice".
