Delz 770 Cracked Screen

Hey

Was wondering if anyone knows of any services or people that can fix this issue by chance? I have spoken to Garmin and they can replace it for $130 but with a different model and of course it being refurbished.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

A Couple of Options

The LCD and digitizer screens are combined into one unit on the 770. A replacement is available on eBay for $65 if you are comfortable working on these devices yourself.

Note that this item ships from China and shipping times can exceed 30 days.

Keep in mind if the unit will not boot and the display is completely blank, there may be other issues with the unit as well.

You can also try contacting Sharcnet for a repair quote:

Like the old style better

I have both the old style Dezel and new style and like the old better due to the buttons on the screen option. Makes it fast for me to stop a active route and to Where to fast as well. On my work trips with many customers and places to go. I would go for the new screen if it broke on me for sure.
