Import POI into Google Maps

Have I missed this on here?

I just downloaded my POIs into Google Maps.
I also downloaded my Routes into Google Maps but have not found how to route them.

*Go to your PC. Open Google Maps and be sure to sign in so it will link to your phone and tablet.
*In the upper left click on the three bars
*Click on My Maps
*In the right corner click on Create
*Click on Import
*Now drag your CSV, XLSX, KML, or GPX file to the box, or you can select a file from your computer
*After each one opens be sure and name your map so you will know what files are in it.

I did the route the same way but so far it only shows as a route and I have not found how to use it.

Now go to your tablet or phone
*Open Google Maps
*In left corner click the three bars
*Open Your Places
*Scroll down to Maps

They are there and have your POIs in them.

I will work more to see what I am missing.
