Started a POI file for Railroad Themed Restaurants.
Any additions would be appreciated.
It includes restaurants in former depots, former railroad cars or memorabilia.
I also included those more geared to the kids, where your food is delivered by a model train.
So, let me know your favorites!!
Dinner in the Diner or Station House at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Holiday Inn
1400 Market Street
I see you've already included The Depot Grille in Lynchburg, VA. I haven't had the pleasure of dining at that location yet, but have frequented the one in Staunton, VA numerous times. Awesome place, circa 1800s right on the old CSX line!
The Depot Grille
42 Middlebrook Ave.
Staunton, VA 24401
This one is right on some very active tracks! If you are there long enough you will get a train going by.

Sumpter Junction Restaurant is in Baker City, OR. Features a G-scale track running throughout the restaurant, including some impressive spiraled hills at the ends. Runs tableside (encased) through several booths, and closer to the ceiling.
Sumpter Junction Restaurant
2 Sunridge Ln
Baker City, OR 97814-2255
Another interesting place is Pizza Caboose, in the Portland, OR metro area. I'll have to do some additional research to find out how many locations they have, but they feature a seating area inside a caboose reproduction, an impressive collection of railroad lanterns, and (probably G-scale) trains running along the ceiling and between rooms.
This BBQ Restaurant has a model train running along the ceiling of the restaurant and has a railroad theme throughout. Good food to boot.
Mutts BBQ Restaurant
101 West Rd
Greer, SC 29650
I didn't see this one in the file. It's housed in an old railroad roundhouse.
Walter Payton's Roundhouse
205 N Broadway
Aurora, IL 60505-2663
Ok, looks like they have two locations:
Pizza Caboose (Tigard)

Tigard, OR 97223-8675
Pizza Caboose (Rock Creek)
3276 NW 185th Ave

Silverton CO. We rode up there on a train. THe Silverton Brewery makes good sandwiches too. The model train runs around the ceiling and out the front of the building.

Thank you for the additions!
Pearl Street Station Restaurant resides in the
renovated Boston & Maine Railroad Station, built
in 1891 in Malden MA. Boasting the original
brick fireplace. The trains still run under the
station and you can feel them as they pass thru.
Great food and ambience.

Here is one for your collection:
A former Boston & Maine railroad station, located in Beverly, MA. Good steaks.
A sandwich restaurant located at the junction of County A and E near Jackson Port, WI in Door County, WI. In fact it's the geographical center of the County. geochapman, PC Junction was already in the file, but I added your description.
Shadows Pub & Grill is located in the east wing of
the Union Pacific Depot in Cheyenne, WY.
Outdoor, track side seating is available. Keep in
mind that the restaurant is next to a *REALLY* busy
mainline & crew change location. Trains are constantly pulling by and stopping.
And the food is pretty good too!

Sidetrack Bar and Grill
56 E Cross St
Ypsilanti, MI 48198-2835
This place is great!! Great food, won numerous awards. Also, as the name implies, it's next to the tracks of an active Amtrak RR. I highly recommend it!
15 West Main Street, Shortsville, NY (585) 289-3600
This Italian-American restaurant is located in what used to be an authentic train depot. Original photos of the depot and trains from the early 1900s hang on the walls along with original artifacts from the area. The privately owned restaurant also works with the railroad company to offer train rides to customers. The Depot Restaurant's signature dish is steak. The restaurant is open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Tuesday through Sunday.
The Station Restaurant & Sleeping Cars
806 West Buffalo St., Ithaca, NY 14850
The Station Restaurant features several dining areas. What was once the station's waiting room is now the main dining room which features chandeliers from the dining room of the Ithaca Hotel and benches from the original station waiting room. The burgundy material used in upholstering the benches was bought from the Lehigh Valley Railroad who used it for the seats of their trains. The material is Pre-World War II fabric.
Several black railroad lanterns used to light the restaurant and exit signs were found at railroad yards in Sayre, PA, a Lehigh Valley terminal. Other lanterns as well as various signs were generously donated by the Payne Railroad Museum.
Authentic Lehigh Valley pictures and maps, gathered over the past years from collectors, contribute significantly to our decor.
The rest rooms still have the old marble partitions and hardware which we salvaged and used. The tile floor is original.
The Station's ticket counter has become The Station's Bar.
Another dining area is located where the original Railroad platform was located.
For the ultimate nostalgic experience, dine in our railroad dining car.
