For the majority of windows 7 and 8 users the upgrade to windows 10 will be free. Microsoft is adopting a similar program for operating system updates that Apple has been using with free updates and a operating system that is useable on multiple hardware types.

The consensus is to wait for the release rather than download the Beta.

YouTube
I just watched a couple of Windows 10 reviews on YouTube.
It looks like it might be very nice.
On one of the reviewers it was suggested that you do not put the preview Windows 10 on any computer that your are using as your main computer. They said it might be hard to upgrade from the preview version to the final Windows 10. They also said it might be hard to revert back to your present Windows version. They recommend the program that was mention earlier in this post, VirtualBoxas, a way to preview Windows 10.
After wading through several videos I found two that were very informative.

I hope to be able to get rid of classic shell that I use to get around in 8.1.
Windows 10
I bought Windows 8 when it first came out as it was only 20 or 30 bucks or so. Put it on my computer for about 1/2 hour and immediately dumped it for my image of Windows 7 that I had saved. Will wait quite awhile if ever to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
