In this article from the Calgary Herald (February 17), the reporter indicates that number of Speed on Green tickets issued continues to increase. This, despite the fact that the camera locations are clearly marked and are listed on the Calgary Police web page.
I appreciate that people may pick up a little speed to get through a green light, but going twice the speed limit is excessive. And for those of you not familiar with Calgary, the spot with the most tickets issued (16th Avenue and 10th Street NW) is a congested mess at the best of times.
