Can anyone tell me how to find what map version is loaded? I've tried every Icon that comes up, including the "about", but I can't tell what version I have, and if I should update? Thanks, Bob

It's either 2013.30 or 2013.40, but I can't tell if the update worked.

map version

I looked on my 2595 and couldn't find the map version. I guess I would check for updates on my Garmin Express App and if there were none, I'd think I have the latest version. Otherwise, I would call Garmin.

On the 2595, it's Settings> Map & Vehicle > myMaps.

2013.10 is three maps ago, roughly 9 months ago.

You don't state what model Garmin GPS you own, but if yours has the letters LM or LMT, you're missing out on updating your maps and according to Garmin's new map update policy, I believe that a GPS with LM or LMT that's not been updated for 24 months will lose its lifetime update ability.

If you GPS is not a LM or LMT and you want to buy a lifetime subscription, Amazon now sells them today for under $55 including S&H and at times, they're even cheaper:
