create your own route

Seems the GPS makers keep dumbing down what the owner can do. Sort of like my way or no way.
My 1450 has the capability of creating your own route and I use it all the time I don't like or use Base Camp.
I am thinking of replacing my 1450LMT do any of the new units let you crate your own route in the GPS?

All of the new 2xxx and 3xxx models allow you to create "trips" which is a replacement for "routes". Basically the difference is that trips guide you from waypoint to waypoint until you reach your destination while routes guide you to the destination taking you through the various waypoints.
Look under SPECS for any of these models that are listed on the Garmin website. Any that show Routes - 10 or Routes - 100 will have the Trip Planner function and you'll beable to create your Trips on the Nuvi.
