Nuvi 1350 "highlighted route"

A few weeks ago I updated my 1350 map and software. What is happening since then is when starting a trip, the highlighted route starting point is not anywhere near where I am at. It used to be when I was in a parking lot or something it would say proceed to highlighted route and it was at the lots exit. Since the update, it is sometimes not even on the screen. I was in Atlanta, and it was 2 or 3 miles away from where I was at. All this since the update. Any ideas of what I can do to correct this?

It is often

It is often, perhaps almost mandatory, to do a hard reset of your Nuvi after a major software update. This will clear many of the unusual problems like those your now seeing.

Check out this thread for the reset procedures and don't forget to backup at least your favorites, although a full backup of your Nuvi is better, before you do the reset. See:
