Here is an article about new cameras in New Miami, OH. These cameras look pretty portable. Is it possible to program your GPS to just avoid the entire town?

As far as I know, I can only detour specific sections of routes; for example, if a bridge was out for repairs.

Some Garmin nuvi models can create a Custom Avoidance area (a rectangle).
