user end agreement

Just got a replacement for my 2595lmt in from Garmin. Every Time I turn it on the User End agreement comes up first to accept. It did not do this on my old one. Any way to get this to stop? Thanks in advance, Jerry

Got that too

Have you

Have you obtained a strong satellite signal for an extended period of time? Often, on a new device, all satellite information may need to be obtained by the GPS before it figures out where it really is and that you've already agreed to the things that keep coming up when you turn the Nuvi on.

It goes away

I get that every time on my 2450. If you wait it does go away on it's own.

Yes get a strong signal. It did not stay on my other 2595lmt once I had accepted it. Oh well another call to Garmin.

Long Shot

I'm sure you have used the Nuvi after getting a satellite signal and using the unit so the below suggestion may not work. Have you tried a hard reset yet?

I found this on another forum:
"Question: Why do the End User License Agreements show up every time I power on my device?

Answer:
When some newer nuvi devices are powered on, they display the End User License Agreements (EULAs) that you must agree to. These EULAs will show up every time you power the device on until it has traveled for at least 20 seconds going over 3 MPH. Once this requirement has been met, the EULAs should no longer appear during startup."

Edited:
When you say EULA is the message appearing as the WARNING message that you should Not Attempt To Enter Route Information Or Adjust The Device While Driving.
Or is it the Software Licensing Agreement?

If that is the message, then every Nuvi I've ever owned always displayed that message. Either I hit agree or it goes off by itself in a little while.

If it's the Software Licensing Agreement it should turn off by itself in time,

As mentioned above, you may need to travel at speed as well as hold the signal for some seconds, before it will go away for good.

eula

I recommend you place it in the sleep mode.
this way you have nearly instant on when you
get ready to use it. Operating in the sleep
mode uses negligible charge. To place it in the
sleep mode hit the off switch quickly. If it is
in the mount when you turn it back on(or take it
out of the sleep mode) it will immediately
come up on the "Where To? View Map" page.
If it not in the mount when you turn it
on it will come up with a green leaf page
with a unlocked padlock in the middle of
the page. Tap the screen twice and it will
go to the where to view map page. If you want to
turn it off completely after being in the sleep
mode press the on/off button for 6 or more seconds.

Correct goes away

it went away on mine after about 15 times of use in the car

Update

Well I hit the reject button and then the accept button when it came on again and it does not appear anymore!
