Haven't gone yet, but heading to the mountains this weekend for a guys campout and fathers day weekend.

Attended my first Flashmob at a Relay for Life this weekend. I almost got lost, but my GPS knew where she was going.

Flew into ABQ for a business trip meeting. Took "Karen" (Nuvi 760) with me - very helpful!

I'll be touring Boston next week to go to a Red Sox/Braves game. Of course I'll be using my Garmin!

out in wells nv. the on to jackpot nv. Idaho and back home. No yard ward for a week.

I'm heading out today for 2 weeks for work. One week in South Korea, the second week in China

Busy week at work during the week and working around the house this weekend. Google Nav app performed well to and from work.

bird feeder and squirrel feeder. Had to use a dril, crowbar and pick-ax to get thru this Tx soil to but the pole in the ground to hang the bird feeder from. Put the squirrel feeder on the fence.

Went to Arlington Va to visit Nephew and saw several sites in the DC area, Then off to Charlotte NC to visit a Cousin and family, then to Atlanta area to see my Brother and his family. Good weather, light traffic. What more could one ask.

I need a vacation!

Went to the in-laws' house in Delaware this weekend, and then took everyone to Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA.

Just local, but comparing new phone maps to the Garmin to see how, or if, they differ. So far Google seems to be more up to date, which is not surprising.

Went up to Lake Granby, CO this past weekend. Had a blast and really nejoyed the direcitons from my GPS.

Try "Stewman's On the Wharf" for lunch ! Great food !

And try the Blueberry Ice Cream sold at a couple of shops along the main street !

We drove a long way today to buy a "Made In America" Radio Flyer. The lady wanted to give me directions instead of an address over the phone. My 1490 put me right in front of the old farmhouse on a dead end road.

Sea World on day one - Didn't much need it for Sea World, but it came in real handy for getting us from there to Phil's BBQ for some of the best BBQ in San Diego. Long line, but worth it!

Back to SD and the Zoo for day 2 - It came in real handy finding the shortest path to the Zoo and then from the Zoo to hook up w/ friends at a restaurant (Tony's Jacal) in Solana Beach (about 22 miles away).

from a 9 day 2400 mile road trip with my wife and daughter... Iowa to New Jersey for a wedding, then took the train into NYC to visit GZ and lower Manhattan, then drove up to Niagra Falls for a couple of days and back to Iowa. Used my old nuvi 855 ... worked great. I still like the 855 for its feature of listening to an audio book and having it automatically mix with navigation prompts and alerts. Interestingly, we did not get a single RLC or speed camera alert in any of the areas of the 7 states we traveled thru ... and yes, I know the alerts were enabled and working.

Took two days to drive to LA and spent a day at Knots Berry Farm park celebrating our grand daughters 9th birthday. Spent over $300 but it was worth it when she kissed me and thanked me for having the best birthday ever. When shall I wash my cheek?.

FInally - taking the fam to HHI for vacation. Haven't had a vacation for two years.

Update: AHHH! we made it - the 3760 worked great on the way down. There were plenty of junction views.

It also works great on the island, as things are hard to find without it due to the sign being place in the landscaping and not able to be lit unless with direct light.

Made a trip south on I95 with a return this afternoon. Moderate traffic both ways, but even with the Orioles/Nationals game in Baltimore, no significant slow downs. A little warm and and the A/C got a workout, but it did fine.

Google nav app performed as expected, no issues.

Nothing new with GPS this week, although we'll testing out the accuracy of our maps next week when we go to NC.

Baltimore to NYC.

a day of camping around Williams,AZ. 85 at Williams sure beat the heck out of 105 at home!

I have a feeling I'll be using my GPS this week to try to find alternate routes around the traffic coming from Creation. 120,000 christians at a weekend long concert event, all wanting to go home at the same time that I want to go home from camping.

Left home this morning at 5am got to Mississauga at 6:30am, left Mississauga at 2pm got back home at 6pm, can't wait to do it again tomorrow. Need waaaaay more beer.

Back home again in FL after our 24 day driving trip in/thru 12 states up as far as Northern, Maine.
Drove 4206 miles, average mpg on our Ford Taurus was 28 mpg and average cost of gas was $3.33 per gal. Lowest was under $3 in VA & SC.
Most expensive in Northern states.
Found 2 rest areas that have reopened and one that has closed. Will update RAC POI file next week !
Excellent trip - practically no rain although temps in the North were a tad cool for my S.O.
Jack (my GPS) had one problem in NY finding a restaurant. They had wrong street address in data base. Other than that - flawless performance.

Getting lost taking a new route, reminding me that I need to update the map.

Had to find where a wedding was.

Took wife, son & grandson to PF/K Wed/Thur. Garmin installed list of attractions was worthless. Used Offbeat Attractions. (Forgot to load Pigeon Forge file). Worked very well. Found stuff they wanted to see but did not know was there before.
