GPS Coordinates (from a saved favorite)

Is there a way to retrieve the gps coordinates from a location that you have saved as a favorite?

Thanks.

On my 1490

tools>setting>system>Gps>Simulator
Set to on: Go back to main screen
Where to> Favorites> select>Set location
Go Back to main screen
Tools>Where am I
Edit: Or transfer them to Mapsource

Where To>Favorites>select one>Map>Set Loc.

Tools>Where Am I

GPS's don't have the where am I feature.. My C330's don't.. Your best bet there is to transfer to Mapsource on the computer and view the info there..

Current Location

Would this work?

Touch the vehicle and save the current location to favorites with a name. This makes sure you can get that location later.

If you are at the point where you want the coordinates and you do a Where To > Coordinates, would the coordinates shown not be the current location?

This works

I saved a current location this morning, calling it GAS. Now I can Where to?>Favorites>Map Points and Coordinates.
There it is> GAS with Lat & Long.

another feature

Another feature the powers that be at Garmin with their great wisdom done away with. My antique Street Pilot III, my SP 2610, and my SP 2820 all show the coordinates of the favorite when you pull it up to go to it. The first time I wanted to get the coordinates of a favorite with my 855 I couldn't believe all the BS I had to go through.

Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.

nope

I've found no way on my C330's to display LAT/LONG info, for that I save a Waypoint (favorite) and download it to Mapsource where I can view all the info, or take one of my trusty handhelds (eMap or Geko) which show LAT/LONG easily.

Simulator

The Simulator suggestion works on my Garmin.

Settings>System>GPS Simulator On
Where To>Favorites; pick favorite and then 'Set Location'
Go back and then, Where To>Coordinates and there is the (Lon/Lat in the format you have it set to display).
