In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share with us the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you use it to seek out special places to go. (Like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.) Anything to keep your windmill alive.
Thank you CherylMASS for starting the original "Keeping the Windmill Alive" thread at POI Factory.
This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.
Our last trip was to Gettysburg, PA in early October. Whether it's Gettysburg, Lancaster or anywhere else, we rely on our GPS to help navigate Pennsylvanias back roads. Those back roads can be very interesting!
Flew to Norfolk, VA and traveled to the Outer Banks in NC. GPS came in handy!
I bought a 10" pumpkin pie, baked right there at the club bakery. GOOD. Jill helped me detour around a closed on-ramp to the I-74 bridge.
More roaming around NJ flea markets
Took a fall RV trip to Southern Illinois. Jill only tried to take use down 3 roads that were not RV accessible.....In Jacksonville, IL, she told us to turn on a alley, which was only one block long. We decided to go around that one.
Beautiful weather, though.
to LA San Fran Grand Canyon
Cruise on Carnival Sensation 3 days to Nassau Bahamas, took the yellow eTrex to lay ship track from Port Canaveral, also the Nuvi 260 to get around using POIs downloaded here.
