Missing traffic data on 3790T

For the last few weeks my 3970T stopped showing any traffic icons or any traffic detail. As my wife's commute is from Nassau County, NY to a destination near LaGuardia Airport she has to travel the Van Wyck Expressway which is ALWAYS jammed up. The GPSr used to show traffic conditions (and rerouting suggestions) every time she made the commute but is absolutely gone now. I've turned off the traffic option and then turned it back on but I simply cannot get the traffic information/icons to show up. When I check the subscription, it still shows as active. Likewise I no longer get the ads.

Any feedback on how to get traffic data up and running again?

Thanks,
Rob

.

There was a way to delete the old traffic data on the unit from the diagnostics screen, but I'll be darned if I can remember it, or find it here.

Thanks for the link. I

Thanks for the link.
I refreshed the traffic tables, etc. three times and still no traffic whatsoever. The receiver did show that it scanned for the frequencies and recognized the local sources. I'm stumped...

Hard Reset

Have you tried a Hard Reset?

If you do, be sure to back up your favorites.

I did not do a hard reset.

I did not do a hard reset. That was the only thing I did not do.

After trying and updating everything, I contacted Garmin and offered them the diagnostic data. In the end, they have RMA'ed my traffic receiver and I will get a replacement.

Thanks for all of your input!
