Streets & Trips send route to Garmin does not work

I downloaded the trial version last night and today created a route and used the supposed function to send the route to my 465T and all it sent was the waypoints. Big deal! I guess I'll continue using GPSBabel to convert the route to a *.gpx and then load it into the GPX folder in the 465T.

Did you export the .gpx file to your computer and import from My Data? I used the trial version and it worked fine.

I know, I was disappointed as well but unless you use the MSN Direct option to transfer the route, S&T will only transfer the waypoints. We have a discussion of this at http://www.poi-factory.com/node/25259
Also you can save as a GPX file as Tom says but GPSbabel works just as well in about the same number of steps.

Yes, I did discover that the Export to GPX file works perfect. You can send it right to the GPX folder in the Garmin. Actually it's less steps and quicker than GPSBabel since you don't have to load it and select you file and name it.

I'd missed the fact that saving the GPX file directly to the Garmin\GPX directory on the Nuvi would work the same as sending it from GPSbabel or Mapsource.
