If you are in a route and your vehicle comes accross one of the custom POI's (lets say walmart) will the walmart store pop up with out you having to do anything.

Do you have an alert for the custom POI with proximity distance set?
If you just want to see the icon, yor map has to be set at a maximum of 300 feet.
Also the POI
The POI has to be within 50 - 75 feet of your route of travel for an alert to sound.
