Nuvi 855: Costco Price was Cut, but Going Back UP?

I would like to alert others to the fact that Costco currently has on sale the Garmin Nuvi 855 for only $249. This unit allows users to control it by their Voice Commands, but it is also notable for not having two other popular Nuvi features: It does NOT have Bluetooth or free Traffic alerts.

I want to make certain that others are aware of the recent price history of the 855 at Costco online. This unit first went on sale May 11 for $299. That price was just reduced to $249, on June 5...and is still currently displayed at Costco.com as being available until July 5.

HOWEVER, I received in the mail today the newest Costco circular, which lists a forthcoming price INCREASE in the 855, back to the original $299. This price is stated to be in effect June 15 - July 5.

I admit I am confused by the apparent price increase to begin June 15, and am certainly not privy to Costco pricing decisions. Perhaps the brand new ad circular has a price error... but I think that anyone who is considering the Nuvi 855 might want to take advantage of the $249 price right away. Then again, perhaps others may wish to contact Costco.com via Customer Support...and learn if the new listed price change is a mistake.

Basic Unit vs Bundle

I have noted that some of the sale prices announced for Best Buy or Costco are for the basic unit and have few, if any, accessories (FM transmitter, etc.). Sometimes these "sales" are not all they are cracked up to be and the buyer has to read the fine print.
