zip code search

simple question, i am used to search a destination by zip code in Canada and it works relatively well. I've never found how to do it as soon as I go in the US, I just don't find the same search option.
could you let me know if you found it and how to search by zip code in the Us.

My 200 doesn't have
a zip code search function. At least, not one that I can find!

If we in the US want to search for a Resort by ZIP code, we have to pick one in Canada.
Stupid as it sounds, that search is not available for the US.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.

It's not an issue with GPS unit, per se, but rather with the map data. The City Navigator North America does not contain searchable zip code information for the US.
If you want to search for zip codes in the US, you must use some other methods as posted above.

It appears it is one of the lonely function only available in Canada.
I found here that using zip code is only a little faster to search your destination.
