Hello everyone! I bought my first Nuvi (885T) last week and I love it. I have one question. some of the POI's stay on the map even when I have disabled them or am I missing something? I thought u could disable all POI's?
I have the newest updates loaded.
Please Enlighten me!

If your 885T is like my 660, you can disable all "Custom-POIs". Could the POI that you still see be one of the built-in POIs?
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
I have disabled all POI's,
I have disabled all POI's, some are still showing!
How do I find out if there are some built in?

Kevin,
There are 6 million built-in POIs -- all of the locations found under any of the categories other than Extras. There is no way to disable the built-in POIs

Have you upgraded to the latest firmware. Garmin has an update for your unit that I think will correct your problem

Yes! Thank you.
Yes I updated! it fixed the POI issues of staying on and a few other changes. Still playing with it to see what else has changed good or bad.
It would be great to have a fix for the volume issues with voice navigation? It really is hard to hear sometimes while driving.
