Can the pre-loaded POI files on a TomTom ONE 3rd edition be removed?

Use the TomTom Home program
And select "Remove items" - from there you can remove some of their pre-loaded POIs

Under "Remove Items" all that show up are the POI files that I have loaded.
Are they loaded as .ov2 files that can bee seen in Windows?
In a word...
NO! The preloaded POI's cannot be changed, modified, or removed as they are proprietary to TomTom. I know, that stinks!
